Tottenham are expected to be willing to listen to hefty offers for Kane, but it will never be easy for Man United to pry him away.
Kane recently signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with Tottenham, which puts him under contract with Spurs until 2020.
If the Red Devils can somehow convince Spurs to sell Kane, they will land a perpetual scoring threat who can take the reins in Old Trafford once 29-year-old Wayne Rooney declines and moves on.
31-year-old striker Robin van Persie is already set to move away from Man United and sign with Fenerbahce, and will need replacing up front.
Kane would undoubtedly be ready to take the reins, assuming he can build on his 2014-15 breakout season, during which he scored 30 goals in all competitions.
