Arsenal v Chelsea tickets cost desperate fans £950
The German international’s future has been the cause of much speculation over the past 12 months as it became clear he wasn’t signing a new contract at the Bernabeu.
The Sun now believe United are in pole position for his signature with their all-but confirmed Champions League football next season and greater financial clout making them a more attractive proposition than Liverpool.
There hasn’t been shortage of interest in Khedira with The Sun siting Arsenal, Schalke and Chelsea as other clubs interested in signing the World Cup winner.
Khedira’s agent Jorg Neubauer is believed to have held talks with a number of clubs over the past few weeks, looking to work a deal in the near future.
However, it now appears United’s £150,000 a week contract offer, according to The Sun, has seen them convince Khedira that Old Trafford is for him.
