The French international has been one of the Premier League’s finest keepers in recent times, establishing himself as a key player for Spurs since his move from Lyon in 2012.
United’s de Gea is also a top performer between the sticks, and his form at Old Trafford has seen him linked as Iker Casillas’ successor at the Bernabeu next summer.
This could then see the Red Devils make a £25m offer for Lloris, 27, as they would no doubt need a quality replacement for de Gea.
