Moyes has revealed that he hopes to bring a few loan signings to Sociedad in the January transfer window and will be looking to use his links with Old Trafford to land Januzaj.
The Scot was sacked by the Red Devils after just 11 months in charge back in April and is now looking to rebuild his managerial career in Spain.
Januzaj was one of the few positives during Moyes’ ill-fated spell in charge of United with the 51-year-old giving the teenager is debut against Sunderland in the Premier League – a match in which the Belgium international scored a match-winning brace.
However, the 19-year-old’s predicted rise to stardom has not materialised since then and the youngster is now struggling to establish himself under Louis van Gaal.
Therefore a loan move in the New Year is not so unlikely for Januzaj, although Moyes will face competition from Ajax and Inter Milan in the pursuit of the midfielder.
