Vidal broke the curfew of the Italian champions after being spotted in a Turin bar in the early hours of Friday morning and was late to training and as a result was dropped from the starting XI for Sunday’s clash with Roma.
Both manager Massimiliano Allegri and club administrator Giuseppe Marotta are unimpressed with the 27-year-old and the latter has spoken out on the subject.
“South Americans are like that. They live certain situations in their own way, they have a way to celebrate and to enjoy themselves. We just have to keep him at bay and control him,” Marotta was quoted by the Mirror.
“From a football standpoint, we cannot say anything. A fine of 100,000 [euros]? Perhaps it’s not enough.”
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move for Vidal and it’s thought the 13-time Premier League champions are prepared to offer up to £35m for the Chile international.
Juve have revealed that they received bids for both the midfield ace and Paul Pogba over the summer, but rejected both.
However, after this latest misdemeanour from Vidal La Bianconeri may be more open to allowing one of their best players to leave for United.
