Manchester United’s season ended with more of a whimper than a roar, a criticism that could be equally applicable to Hull City who were relegated on the back of this 0-0 draw at the KC Stadium.

United already looked like their minds were halfway on their holidays for the majority of the 90 minutes and resigned to their fate of a Champions League qualification spot after securing fourth place.
Here’s how we rated the United players in the very definition of season ending performance:
GK: Victor Valdes – 7
Grew in confidence as the game went on in what was his first Manchester United start. And proved his former world class credentials with some stunning stops against Ahmed Elmohamady and Nikica Jelavic.
RB: Antonio Valencia – 5
Could not get forward as he like as Hull effectively nullified his attacking game with defence in numbers down the right flank.
