A very quiet game from the Spaniard, who needs to play in the centre to be at his best.
Wayne Rooney – 7
Would get 10/10 for shouting at the ref. Had some good spells but was used in a very deep lying attacking role.
Robin Van Persie – 5
Dutchman had two good chances and should have netted them both, did little else in the game and looked a little unfit. Rooney’s counter at the end would have resulted in a goal if RVP was fitter.

Solid alongside Vidic for the second half, switched off a little towards the end of the match.

Nice dribbles but no end product.

Didn’t really have enough time to make an impact.
