Brought an air of calm assurance to the middle of the park. Probably United’s best midfielder.

Made the third goal by causing a nuisance of himself in the box, and covered plenty of ground for United. Appeared to catch Ron Vlaar with another stray elbow however.
Ashley Young: 6
Added width to United’s attacks and was tidy in possession. May not have done enough to earn a start against Munich, however.
