SC) Wayne Rooney 6 – Little came off for Rooney but he is clearly relishing the captaincy and kept working hard.
SC) Robin van Persie 8 – Barely touched the ball but put it in the back of the net when he did get it, a real poacher’s display.
SUB) Jonny Evans 6 – Did okay after coming on for Smalling but there have to be doubts over his long term future.
