Wayne Rooney – 8/10
Wayne Rooney showed great strength to outmuscle James Tomkins and superb vision to hit a bouncing ball over Adrian in the West Ham goal.
He tapped in from close range shortly afterwards to wrap up all three points, and proved an excellent stand in captain.

Showed willingness to run into the channels, but barely touched the ball.
Danny Welbeck – 7/10
Worked hard, showed good technique on the ball and found a team-mate with each of his passes.
