Unlucky not to be on the winning side, Angel Di Maria looked superb for United today, showing plenty of class in midfield and scoring an early contender for goal of the season in the first half with a beautiful chip over the Leicester City goalkeeper.
Wayne Rooney – 6
A disappointingly quiet game from Wayne Rooney, despite getting a well-worked assist for Di Maria’s goal in the first half, but not vintage Rooney in a deep-lying role.
