Hard to make the case against who was the best player in the match when Ander had the team’s lone goal in what was often a futile effort to get decent shots.  Though it was only his 7th of the season, Ander has shown up with a score when Manchester has needed one badly.

With the critical assist, several well-placed shots that required smart saves by Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina and multiple well-placed corner kicks that the rest of the team simply failed to capitalize on, Young would have been as big a hero as Herrera if not for the goal allowed at the 82′ mark.
