Some Manchester United players are reportedly unhappy with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for what they feel are broken promises made to them about playing time before the start of the season.
According to ESPN, the likes of Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Diogo Dalot, Juan Mata and Alex Telles are all among the names who felt they were wrongly assured of getting more first-team football this season.
This just adds to the growing list of problems for Solskjaer at the moment, with his Man Utd side currently on a dreadful run of form, with recent home defeats to rivals Liverpool and Manchester City casting major doubt over the Norwegian tactician’s future.
It remains to be seen if Solskjaer can recover from this, but he surely won’t be helped by the fact that so many of his squad players are clearly unsettled.
It would perhaps makes sense, given the team’s recent struggles, to start including those aforementioned squad players more to see if they could go some way towards getting United back to their best.
The likes of Van de Beek and Lingard are two in particular who seem to have been very harshly overlooked by their manager in recent times, as they’ve usually impressed when they have managed to get on the pitch.
