How the Red Devils are likely to start against the Greek champions.
David Moyes has a chance to salvage something from what has been a disappointing first season in charge of Manchester United when they host Olympiakos in the second-leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
Not that the Premier League champions are coming into the game in good form, having been humbled by rivals Liverpool in a 0-3 defeat at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils were extremely poor in that game, so here is how fanatix thinks Moyes will lineup United against the Greek champions.
GK – David de Gea
In what has been a poor campaign the goalkeeper has been one of the few positives and continues to grow as one of the finest stoppers in world football.
RB – Rafael
With United needing to win the game 3-0 to guarantee progression to the quarter-finals and Chris Smalling likely to miss the match, we think the more attack-minded Brazilian will get the nod.
CB – Phil Jones
Although played at the back against the Reds in the loss at the weekend, is a better option than Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans is also out of the game due to injury.
CB – Nemanja Vidic
When the English champions lost the first-leg in Athens three weeks ago the captain was one of the few shining lights and with Vidic leaving for Inter Milan in the summer, the club will want to get the most out of the remaining time the Serb has at the Theatre of Dreams.
LB – Patrice Evra
Like de Gea the left-back has actually shown good form this term, which also begs the question why the Red Devils look ready to allow Evra to leave on a free transfer in the summer.
