GK) David de Gea
The Spanish keeper is an automatic starter for the Red Devils when fit, and barring a late injury, will begin between the sticks at Stamford Bridge. If United lose, they could find themselves 14 points off the pace at the end of the weekend.
DR) Rafael
Rafael has struggled with injuries this season, but is a first-choice starter at right-back ahead of Chris Smalling. Rafael may have to tame his attacking instincts against a Chelsea outfit who have never lost a Premier League match under Jose Mourinho at home.
DC) Nemanja Vidic
With Phil Jones injured, club captain Vidic should start in defence against the Blues. He will have to face Fernando Torres though, who famously gave him many torrid afternoons when the Spaniard played for Liverpool.
