Evans is considered a more consistent and less error prone option than Rio Ferdinand at the back for United, and should therefore line up alongside skipper Vidic.
DL) Patrice Evra
Evra is out of contract in the summer, but is still a first-choice selection at left-back ahead of Dutchman Alex Buttner. United have been strongly linked with Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao, but as of yet, nothing has been confirmed.
