GK) David de Gea
Along with Rooney, de Gea’s arguably been United’s best player this season. He’s an automatic starter between the sticks.
DR) Rafael
Rafael missed the clash with Bayern Munich, but against a much less brilliant side, should be recalled for his attacking prowess up the right.
DC) Nemanja Vidic
Ferdinand badly lacks pace, and Vidic was exceptional against Bayern Munich, meaning he’ll almost certainly retain his place.
DC) Phil Jones
Jones played at right-back against Bayern, and although he did well, he’s more comfortable in the centre. With Evans and Jones doubtful, the Englishman should get the nod.
DL) Alex Buttner
Evra is available again, but Buttner played so well against Bayern, it will difficult to drop him today.
