Italian Champions want Patrice Evra to join them on a two-year deal.
Italian giants Juventus want to sign 33-year old Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra on a two-year deal at £55,000 per week after tax, reports the Daily Mail.
La Bianconeri are set to table a £2 million offer for the Frenchman, who recently agreed to extend his stay at Old Trafford, despite possibly being pipped for the first choice left-back slot by England sensation and Man United’s new signing Luke Shaw.
Juve possibly feel that the promise of regular football and the security of a two-year contract in Turin could lure the Frenchman away from Old Trafford.
While United too might want to keep Evra at least as a squad player for next season, they are prepared for the Frenchman leaving and are pursuing £15 million rated Swiss defender Ricardo Rodriguez.
It looks like the ball is in Evra’s court, and with still over 50 days to go before the transfer window shuts, the former AS Monaco man could yet leave the Red Devils.
Juventus and Manchester United are already reportedly in talks with each other over a potential Old Trafford switch for Arturo Vidal.
