Manchester United close to striking £17.8m deal for German star
Their newest mission involves two Sevilla players, as they are preparing to fork over £46.3m for Carlos Bacca and Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils are attempting to hold off Liverpool and Arsenal in their pursuit of the dynamic duo, as they are primary targets for those two Premier League squads as well.
Bacca would be an ideal signing for Man United, as he could add a dynamic scoring threat to their team as he scored 20 goals in La Liga matches while leading Sevilla to a fifth-place finish.
They also won the Europa League trophy as Bacca scored another seven goals in those matches.
Meanwhile, Krychowiak would add a much-needed midfield presence as Michael Carrick is expected to leave Old Trafford after an injury-filled 2014-15 season.
Bacca is expected to be worth £25m while Krychowiak holds a £21.3m release clause.
