DESPERATE Man United give second chance to OVERPRICED flop despite two-way transfer chase
Man United is expected to offer deals to Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi, who is widely expected to go to the Red Devils after Valencia found a defensive replacement in Nicolas Nkoulou.
Otamendi scored six goals for Valencia, so he would bring a defensive scoring force for the Red Devils.
He is also relatively young at 27 years old, so Man United would be able to lock in a premier defender for the foreseeable future.
Ramos also proved to be a relatively solid scorer for Real Madrid, as he scored four goals for them in the 2014-15 season.
It is still unknown exactly how much it will cost for Man United to sign these two players, but Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has made it no secret that he will not rest until his team spends big in the transfer window.
He even believes that they should win the 2015-16 Premier League title if they successfully sign their targeted defenders.
