Manchester United transfer news
The Welshman is known to be a top target for Louis van Gaal as the ambitious Dutchman looks set to continue his big spending, while de Gea has also been targeted by Real.
In a move that could benefit both parties, United are supposedly willing to offer £50m in cash to Real alongside the Spanish goalkeeper in an attempt to bring in Bale for less than his staggering £100m asking price.
Having joined Madrid for a world-record £85m in 2013, Bale’s fine form in La Liga has only seen his value rise as both United and Chelsea show an interest in bringing him back to the Premier League.
