Manchester United have a mixed bag of injuries ahead of their trip to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City.
Whilst Chris Smalling is doubtful with a groin injury, Rio Ferdinand could be in line to return to replace him in the heart of the defence alongside Jonny Evans, pushing Phil Jones back out to right back.
Javier Hernandez is also uncertain to take part due to a heavy tackle received against Chelsea, but fortunately for Sir Alex Ferguson, Danny Welbeck appears ready to reclaim his place in attack.
Alternately, Michael Owen could feature after his impressive brace against Leeds United in the Carling Cup, while Dimitar Berbatov is also an option – should he not be filling in at centre back, as he did at Elland Road!
