Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Porto striker Jackson Martinez after identifying him as a possible target upfront, according to the Metro.

The Colombian international has been linked with a whole host of top clubs in recent times after his fine form in Portugal, with Tottenham Hotspur also known to be among his biggest admirers.
With Radamel Falcao struggling at Old Trafford since joining the Red Devils on loan from AS Monaco, it could be that United are targeting Martinez as an alternative upfront.
The prolific 28-year-old looks ready to move to a bigger club and could be better value for money than the struggling Falcao.
