The Red Devils have looked shaky at the back for most of this season, and only the heroics of goalkeeper David De Gea have kept them in the race for the Premier League top four. These two players are unlikely to make an instant impact, but could be important for years to come if they arrive at Old Trafford.
16-year-old Fulgini is a right-back, and could take over from the ageing Antonio Valencia in the role eventually. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Upamecano is a centre-back who may well end up an improvement on the disappointing Phil Jones and Chris Smalling. It is unkown how much Valenciennes may want for the pair.
