Manchester United’s move for Juventus midfield star Arturo Vidal is not off just yet, reports the Daily Mirror.
United’s new boss Louis Van Gaal is known to be a big fan of the Chilean international and is hoping to persuade him to join the Red Devils after putting in a £35 million bid.
Reports claim that United are quietly confident of pulling off the deal for the 27-year old, although Vidal himself ruled out a switch to Manchester recently. It could well be that Man United’s absence from the Champions League this season may have affected their chances of signing Vidal so far, but there still seems to be hope for United fans.
Vidal’s versatility in midfield is something that Manchester United could vastly benefit from, but the transfer could well depend on whether Van Gaal can apply his magic touch on the transfer dealings leading up to the start of the Premier League season.
