The talented 23-year-old looks set to move to Old Trafford in an £18.6m deal this summer, with the Red Devils moving to beat their rivals to his signature in what should be an exciting move.
Firmino has impressed in the Bundesliga in the last couple of seasons, weighing in with six goals and seven assists in the German top flight this term, whilst also becoming more of a regular for the senior Brazilian national team, scoring their winning goal in a recent friendly against Chile at the Emirates Stadium.
United could do with more in the attacking midfield area after Angel Di Maria’s disappointing form since joining the club from Real Madrid, and Firmino is not the first big name to be linked as a top target for Louis van Gaal.
