Arsenal transfer rumours
The Netherlands international has looked somewhat past his best this season, failing to cement a regular place in Louis van Gaal’s side and not hitting his usual heights.
Van Persie could now be one of the big names on his way out of Old Trafford this summer, with Fenerbahce seemingly ready to offer him an escape route from Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old first joined United from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, and helped the Red Devils win the Premier League title in his first season with the club, though he has struggled to maintain that level of performance since.
With the Daily Mail also reporting today that United are showing some interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s in-form striker Harry Kane this summer, it could be that the England international would be brought in as a replacement for van Persie in attack.
