Wayne Rooney would be able to decide his own terms should he sign with the French champions.
PSG are lining-up an offer of around £30m for the Man United’s Wayne Rooney, and the Daily Express reports that the Ligue 1 club will give Rooney control over personal terms.
Paris Saint Germain are willing to pay Wayne Rooney in the region of £300k a week in wages, but will go higher should the disgruntled Manchester United striker want more.
With still another two year’s left on is £250k a week deal with United, an offer from the Ligue 1 champions will need to be substantial in order for the club to relinquish one of their top players.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been monitoring Rooney’s situation closely, and will be alerted to the news of PSG throwing their weight around in a bid to lure the England international across the channel.
The former Everton forward scored 12 goals in 27 appearances Premier League last season, and found himself out of favour towards the end of Sir Alex Ferguson’s final year in charge, which led him to formally hand in a transfer request and sitting out the final two games of the Scot’s reign.
