Roma sign Arsenal target as replacement for United-bound star.
Arsenal look to have missed out on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot, who is heading to AS Roma to replace either Kevin Strootman or Miralem Pjanic.

This looks like being good news for Manchester United, with CaughtOffside reporting that the Red Devils are weighing up January moves for one of the two creative midfield players.
It would appear that Roma have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Rabiot after holding talks with him in recent weeks, despite efforts from the Gunners to win the race for his signature.
The arrival of the young Frenchman suggests that the Italian giants will let a midfielder go, with Strootman moving to United looking the most likely outcome as he is a long-term target for Louis van Gaal.
