Zaha is set to end his Old Trafford nightmare and move to the Welsh capital.
After a season of frustration at Manchester United, winger Wilfried Zaha is set to move on and make the loan switch to Cardiff City, reports Goal.
Zaha has become annoyed at manager David Moyes for not allowing the 21-year-old to leave the club, but at the same time not giving the England international playing time either.
The forward made the switch to the Red Devils in January 2013 in what was to be Sir Alex Ferguson’s last ever signing as boss – for a fee rising to £15m.
However, Zaha was immediately loaned back to previous club Crystal Palace and helped the Eagles to the Premier League via the play-offs last season.
When coming back to United in the summer much was expected of the Englishman at Old Trafford, but Moyes has played the youngster just four times in all competitions this term.
This has left Zaha wanting to leave the club, but the Scot was keen for the starlet to learn from the more experienced heads at the Red Devils.
Newcastle United were interested in taking the player on-loan, but former United star Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now the manager at Cardiff.
Having been such a popular figure at the Theatre of Dreams the Norwegian is in a better position to close the deal, as the Bluebirds desperately try and survive in the English top tier.
