13. Thibaut Courtois – 7
Seems to get better and better with every game and for a goalkeeper who is just 22-years-old Courtois commands his area brilliantly and could do nothing about Robin van Persie’s goal.
2. Branislav Ivanovic – 6
Got forward well, handled Luke Shaw brilliantly and probably should have been awarded a penalty, but getting a red card proved decisive as the Red Devils scored from the resulting free-kick.
24. Gary Cahill – 6
Van Persie caused the England international problems early on, but Cahill settled into the game as things wore on.
26. John Terry – 6
A couple of shaky moments such as allowing the United striker through on goal, but in general the captain was as commanding as ever.
3. Filipe Luis – 7
Has slotted in brilliantly in the absence of Cesar Azpilicueta and the Spaniard could struggle to usurp Filipe once fit again.
