The Red Devils have today been linked with a move to sign Bale instead of Ronaldo, but it could be that the club want to include both of the Real Madrid stars in their starting lineup at some point in the future.
Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas was also a high-profile target for Moyes during his time at Old Trafford, and while he may now be out of reach, Louis van Gaal seems set on Bale and Ronaldo.
Although Ronaldo currently looks too expensive, it is thought that Bale could be available after claims that manager Carlo Ancelotti is unsure how to fit him into his side.
