Luka Modric (Real Madrid)
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is exactly the kind of midfielder Manchester United need, with his ability to dictate play from the centre of the park currently missing from the ranks at Old Trafford.
Modric was previously a Manchester United transfer target, with Moyes’ predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson attempting to buy the Croatia international while he was still at Tottenham Hotspur.
With an increased role in the Real Madrid side now though after a difficult start, Modric may be harder to prise away from the Spanish capital.
