The Manly Sea Eagles have moved quickly to deny speculation that star playmaker Kieran Foran has signed a deal to join the Parramatta Eels.

Fox Sports on Wednesday reported that Foran had signed a four-year deal with the Eels worth a staggering $4.7 million.
However, Manly released a statement saying it had no knowledge of its player signing a deal with Brad Arthur’s side for the 2016 NRL season.
“In light of media speculation this evening, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles would like to reiterate that there has been no confirmation on the playing future of Kieran Foran by him, or his management,” the statement read.
“The club has been in constant communication with both Kieran and his management, including today, and there has been no indication whatsoever that a decision with respect to Kieran’s playing future beyond 2015 has been made.”
The loss of Foran would come as a huge blow to the Sea Eagles, who have already lost fellow playmaker Daly Cherry-Evans to the Gold Coast Titans for the 2016 season.
Cherry-Evans informed teammates of his decision to join the Eels following the Sea Eagles’ 30-point loss to his future side on Friday night.
