Foran, currently with the Manly Sea Eagles, penned a lucrative deal with the Eels which will see the playmaker join the club for the 2016 NRL season.
According to Fairfax Media, Foran has a ‘political turmoil’ clause in his contract which allows him to leave the club if the Eels fall back into strife at board level.
The struggle for power at the Eels will come to a head when the Leagues Club holds its elections this weekend, and any shift in management could also bring upon a change of coach.
Current Eels coach Brad Arthur was a major reason why the 24-year-old made the decision to join Parramatta, and Foran could even back out of the deal before setting foot inside Pirtek Stadium.
In other NRL news, Brisbane Broncos star Darius Boyd will make his long-awaited return from injury against the Penrith Panthers on Friday.
The NRL club broke the news on Thursday morning, saying Boyd will play fullback against the Panthers after training three times this week.
