These two clubs share a lot of history, especially with former Manly coach Des Hasler in charge of the Dogs. They also met in the semi-finals last year, with Cantebury winning in golden point.
The Sea Eagles recorded a morale-boosting win over Melbourne last weekend and will be hoping of more of the same against Canterbury. Despite the loss of Kieran Foran to injury, Manly is always tough to beat on its home turf at Brookvale.
The Bulldogs responded from their season opening loss to Penrith to defeat Parramatta in a convincing manner in round two. Brett Morris is finding his feet at fullback and looked good against the Eels.
Feleti Mateo is expected to partner Daly Cherry-Evans again in the halves for the Sea Eagles. Cherry-Evans was brilliant against the Storm and Manly fans will be wanting more of the same from the halfback.
