With plans for a world-wide media tour in the works, The Sunday Telegraph revealed that Pacquiao plans to have the prince in the front row of the VIP section when he fight Mayweather in Las Vegas on May 2nd.
Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee visited Buckingham Palace and had dinner with the prince back in January while working with his agent on a possible fight with rising boxing star Amir Khan.
The Filipino boxing superstar wants the world to know that he is ready to fight and beat the undefeated Floyd Mayweather, who is a flawless 47-0 as a professional boxer. The fight will be for an estimated $250 million – the largest boxing contract in history.
Pacquiao (57-5-2 record) revealed that he signed the contract with Floyd Mayweather on February 13th – several days before Mayweather signed the contract – and has been bragging that he signed the contract first.
Confident in his prized fighter, Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, expressed his confidence that Pacquiao will beat Mayweather.
“It’s going to a great fight. We are confident our fighter Manny Pacquiao will emerge victorious,” Arum said.
