France legend Blanc’s future in the capital almost certainly hinges on the events of the next six weeks. The immense pressure on the Paris Saint-Germain manager at the start of the year diminished somewhat courtesy of the Champions League triumph at Chelsea in March.

The win in London handed Blanc a stay of execution, but the club’s mega-rich owners want to conquer Europe and steamroll opponents back home. With Barcelona up next in the Champions League and Lyon just one point behind leaders PSG in Ligue 1, Blanc must deliver some big results between now and the end of the season.
