Teenage whizkid Marcus Rashford scored his seventh senior Manchester United goal on Saturday to give the Red Devils a 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
The result rubber-stamped Villa’s relegation to the Championship and also brought United to within one point of top-four rivals Manchester City, who play their game in hand at Chelsea this evening.
Rashford’s goal – which came on 32 minutes as he used clever movement to punish some typically-dreadful Villa defending – also strengthened the 18-year-old’s ranking as United’s most lethal striker.
All three of United’s strikers played today.
