“I’m happy to be back, now I’m only waiting to start training,” he said, according to Football Italia.
“Physically I feel pretty good, I just have to train with the team. I have so much motivation.
“Did I imagine returning to Milan? Yes, I always had Milan in my heart and I always hoped to come back.
“Will I finish my career at Milan? I have to work hard and do well this year, then I’ll think about that.”
The 25-year-old has conceded that he knows he is running out of chances to prove his worth, and this may well be his last in Italy.
