Manchester City are reportedly interested in the Atletico striker…
The Daily Star have linked Man City with an audacious bid for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic.
The Croatian star bagged 34 goals in 54 games for Bayern last term, and has kept up his hot form in Spain, scoring 14 in 22 games this term.
City have a formidable strikeforce Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko, Stefan Jovetic all fighting for places, and Alvaro Negredo out on loan.
But injuries have hit them hard, and 18-year-old Juan Angel Pozo and James Milner have both been forced to play up front in recent games.

Mandzukic has only been at Atletico for 6 months and has been a big hit in Spain. It seems unlikely his side would let him go for as little as £25m.
If City did buy him they would be left with an excess of strikers once again, and would likely have to let another player go in the summer.
As it stands, the transfer seems very unlikely.
