O’Sullivan loses for the first time in the final.
Mark Selby beat two-time defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan 18-14 in the World Championship final at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre.
Victory in the all-English clash saw Selby, who was 10-5 down, win his first world title after losing in the 2007 final.
Defeat was the first time O’Sullivan, a five-time world champion in all, had been defeated in snooker’s showpiece match.
