Serbian winger Lazar Markovic scored three goals in his first season in England following his £20m transfer from Benfica last summer (fee according to The Telegraph).
The 20-year-old took a while to adjust to life with the Reds, and his first campaign stuttered to begin with.
However, he has started 2015-16 with a bang, by scoring a lovely goal inside the opening three minutes of Liverpool’s first pre-season friendly of the summer.
Markovic put Liverpool 1-0 up against a Thailand XI in Bangkok, after latching onto a lovely pass from Joao Carlos Teixeira, who received the ball following some robust target-man play by Rickie Lambert.

How many will he get in the Premier League this season?
Markovic will likely be tasked with providing more goals following the departures of Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling.
