Matt Prior has replied in a coy fashion on Twitter to allegations made by Kevin Pietersen that the wicket-keeper was at the helm of a bullying campaign in the England cricket set-up.
“I’d be fine with Broad. It’s only Prior that I’d seriously have real issues with, because of how he was portrayed as a team man, the heart and soul of the dressing room, when he was getting up to the stuff he was getting up to,” Pietersen said, reported in the Telegraph.
“And the two sides of the coin where I was the bad guy and doing everything wrong.
“Yet when he was talking about Big Bash contracts and how the sponsors were going to change the colour of his gloves, during a Test match in India, while a month or two before, when I was doing my reintegration, I was getting hammered for talking too much about the IPL. I was sitting there thinking, am I actually hearing this stuff?”
Prior claimed that while he doesn’t plan on doing so immediately, he will have his right in reply when he’s read Pietersen’s book.
After this morning I’m looking forward to reading the full kp book. Might bully my kids into getting it for me for Xmas!!
