The Ligue 1 giants reportedly want to replace their 31-year-old centre back Alex with the Blues star, who would be able to replicate his centre back partnership with Brazil teammate Thiago Silva at club level.
L’Equipe speculate that Luiz’s place in the Chelsea line-up is under threat following the signing of enforcer Nemanja Matic and the imminent arrival of young French centre back Kurt Zouma.
Ironically, Luiz move to Stamford Bridge from Benfica in January 2011 in a deal which saw Matic move the other way.
The big-haired fan-favourite has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the West London outfit, willing the FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League.
PSG boast a strong Brazilian contingent, including Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Alex and Lucas Moura.
