A Billy Slater double has helped the Melbourne Storm record a 28-10 defeat over the Parramatta Eels at Pirtek Stadium.

After a very even first half, the Storm ran away with it in the second after posting 18 unanswered points.
Slater started the game strongly, getting his first try in eight matches.
But soon after opposite number William Hopoate hit back for the Eels.
Ryan Morgan then scored and Parramatta had poked its nose in front.
Just before half-time Slater bagged his second to tie it up at 10-10.
In the second half the Storm started brilliantly while the Eels struggled. Marika Korobiete crossed early.
And then Will Chambers powered over to put more pressure on the Eels.
A mistake from Semi Radradra handed Dane Finucane an easy try and the Eels were done.
