Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum struck Conley in the eye with his elbow. Although it was presumably an accident, this was enough for Conley to leave the game and put his playoff future in doubt.
The Grizzlies’ worst fears have been confirmed as Conley will not be playing in Game 4, and no timetable has been set for his return, according to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish.
Mike Conley is officially out for Game 4 between the Grizzlies and Blazers. Has a “serious” facial injury. No timetable for a return.

The fact that Conley has no timetable all but indicates that he will not be back for the rest of the playoffs.
Although the Grizzlies only need to win one more game to eliminate the Blazers and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, they will have to take on the Golden State Warriors next.
Losing Conley will deeply hurt the Grizzlies offense, especially considering that their vaunted defense will face the ultimate test in point guard Stephen Curry, who is an MVP frontrunner.
