Mesut Ozil has been an endless supply line of goals for Arsenal attackers this season, and Alexis Sanchez took the opportunity to return the favour for the opener against Norwich City this afternoon.
Sanchez released Ozil with a marvellous reverse pass, and the World Cup winner calmly lifted the ball over John Ruddy and into the bottom corner to put the Gunners ahead on the half-hour mark.

It was a mistake from Ruddy which gifted Arsenal their advantage. His poor clearance was picked up by Sanchez and the Canaries never recovered as Ozil bagged his second Premier League goal of the season.
That might be a surprisingly low return from a player of Ozil’s quality, but the German has been pulling his weight with 11 assists, including seven in successive games to set a new league record.
Norwich responded well to regain parity by the break. Lewis Grabban held off the challenge of Gabriel Paulista, a replacement for the injured Laurent Koscielny, to slot home a 43rd-minute equaliser.
Victory for Arsene Wenger’s side will lift them level on points with Manchester City and Leicester City at the top of the table. They have not gone three league games without a win since May.
