The Dolphins signed Knowshon Moreno to boost a rushing offense that ranked 26th in the league in 2013.
After missing the first twelve days of training camp practice due to a lingering knee injury, RB Knowshon Morena was removed from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and was activated by the Miami Dolphins.
Moreno said to the media on Wednesday, ”Today (I) was testing the knee out and seeing how it feels… I feel good. What I did today I felt pretty good doing. Now the next couple of days I’ll just progress and do more and more each day. The main thing is to be ready for the season.”
The Dolphins signed Moreno to a one-year, $3 million contract after setting career highs in yards and TDs in 2013. However, Moreno suffered a knee injury shortly after signing the contract and had not participated in any NFL action since Superbowl XLVIII.
Moreno is not expected to play in the Friday preseason game against the Falcons.
