The Dolphins added a new receiver to a corps that already has Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline: former LSU star Jarvis Landry
Questions about his speed prior to the 2014 draft caused former LSU WR Jarvis Landry to drop from a possible 1st round selection to the bottom of the 2nd round. Now with the Miami Dolphins, Landry is proving in camp that his poor combine performance may have been a fluke.
Landry has been very impressive in Dolphins camp. On Sunday he cleanly beat starting CB Will Davis with his speed for a long reception in 7-on-7 drills. Landry has been receiving praise from coaches, fellow players, even team executives.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was noticeably excited about the rookie receiver, “Jarvis Landry is somebody I think everybody is really excited about, speaking to the coaches,” Ross told the Miami Herald. “He’s really going to be somebody that’s going to surprise a lot of people and really bring some excitement to this team.”
